JR. ENTREPRENEUR
& TEENtrepreneur

Jr. Entrepreneur educates local youth ages 9-12 about entrepreneurship through an onsite workshop, library and online resources and hands-on experience. TEENtrepreneur is the same program catered for ages 13-17.

Both programs culminate in the Jr. Entrepreneur Marketplace, where students can gain real-world experience by selling their products and earning money.

Russell Fischer and his family moved to Ventura County in the late 1920’s. For over eighty years he called the area home where he became a successful citrus farmer. Mr. Fischer spent his retirement years living in Camarillo. He was an avid reader and frequent visitor to the Camarillo Public Library.

Russell Fischer passed away in 2006 and left an endowment that funds the Russell Fischer Business Collection. We honor his memory with the ongoing development of the collection and its services.
