The Russell Fischer Business Collection (RFBC) offers free business resources and services to benefit the small business community and residents of the greater Camarillo area. Each year library staff present workshops and programs to help local businesses, teach residents about library resources, and connect with community organizations.

About Russell Fischer
Russell Fischer and his family moved to Ventura County in the late 1920’s. For over eighty years he called the area home where he became a successful citrus farmer. Mr. Fischer spent his retirement years living in Camarillo. He was an avid reader and frequent visitor to the Camarillo Public Library.
Russell Fischer passed away in 2006 and left an endowment that funds the Russell Fischer Business Collection. We honor his memory with the ongoing development of the collection and its services.
