Camarillo Public Library Selected to Receive Funding from California State Library for Its “Cam I Am Sustainable” Initiative

Camarillo Public Library is one of twenty libraries in the state selected to receive funding from the California State Library for programming on sustainability and climate resilience. The City of Camarillo has been awarded a $17,325 grant to support the Library’s Cam I Am Sustainable initiative, which will feature community conversations and events as part of a Sustainable Neighborhood Series. Each month from January to June 2023 the series will focus on select topics such as composting, vegetarian cooking, upcycling, food waste, water conservation and solar energy.

Library Services and Programming

Hours: The library is working closely with the City of Camarillo to monitor the impact of cases in the community. The library is currently open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday & 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
