Summer Reading Club

This summer, we are shaking things up and doing something a little different. Babies and pre-readers, birth to 3 years old, will be using traditional paper reading logs that can be picked up at the library. Your littlest reader will track their reading and get stamps and fun prizes along the way.

Kids ages 4 and up may register in the online Summer Reading Club. Log the minutes read during the summer and complete fun activities, such as flying a kite or attending a library event, to unlock and collect digital badges. Get a free ice cream cone from Mister Softee just for signing up and the final prize is a Lil' MunCheese Meal from Pizza Man Dan's.
In order to complete the Summer Reading Club for your final prize, you must read a total of 1000 minutes (16 hours and 40 minutes), write a letter, listen to an audiobook, build a fort, look at the stars, and do a craft.

As always, we will have activities such as crafts, games, and Wonderful Wacky Wednesdays. A new feature this year is Throwback Thursday, when we highlight a special guest from a past visit.

Come, join the fun. Read and play with us this summer!

Summer Reading Club starts June 23rd and ends August 24th. Click on the "It's Showtime!" picture below to access our online Summer Reading Club.
