About Zip Books
Zip Books is a service for patrons to request books not currently in the Camarillo Public Library’s collection. Requests are delivered to your home through Amazon Prime.
Guidelines

Must be 18 or older and have a Camarillo Public Library card in good standing to request a book.

Requested items must cost $35 or less pre-tax.

Zip Books are limited to the following formats: print and large print. (DVDs and audiobooks are not included.)

Books already in the library collection are ineligible for request.

Books published within the past 12 months are not eligible.

Only one Zip Book request at a time, with a limit of one request per month per patron.

Zip Books are mailed directly to your home via Amazon Prime after staff approval and are on loan for three weeks.

The Library reserves the right to decline requests.
How to Request and Return a Zip Book
Step One:
Fill out the Zip Books Request Form below.
Step Two:
Library staff will email or call to let you know when to expect your book from Amazon or if it is unavailable. Please allow up to 10 business days to process your request.
Step Three:
When finished, return your Zip Book to any public service desk and notify staff that it’s a Zip Book return.
