“Seabee History and Tradition: The Difficult We Do Immediately, the Impossible Takes a Bit Longer” - Jose Rivera

The U. S. Navy Seabee Museum, located in Port Hueneme, is one of fifteen official U. S. Navy museums. It contains an assortment of world war memorabilia as well as various operational records, battalion histories, manuscripts, oral histories, biographies, and personal papers about the Seabees. Jose Rivera’s talk will focus on why the Seabees were formed, what they have done since their beginnings in World War II, what records exist for researchers, and what you can see at the museum.
