In response to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Camarillo Public Library is closed as of Saturday, March 14 until the public health emergency is declared over by Ventura County Public Health. All regularly scheduled events and programs are canceled. The Friends of the Camarillo Library Bookstore and the on-site Giant Steps Cafe are also closed during this time. As always, the health and safety of our patrons and staff is top priority.
During this time, due dates for borrowed materials are automatically extended, no late fines are assessed, and patrons can return materials using outside book drops or wait until the Library reopens. The holds queue for materials is paused and patrons will have one week to pick up held items from the date the Library reopens.
